Hello and Welcome! My name is Chrissy Craig, founder of Kaddyshack, and I would like to introduce you to the Kaddyshack Cattery. We are located south of Kansas City in Cleveland, Missouri and raise CFA registered Persian cats, specializing in Shaded and Chinchilla Silvers, and Himalayans.

I had never seen a Persian (other than in photos) before 1985. I had always known of the breed, but being a dog and horse enthusiast, I had a limited knowledge of cats. Then I saw my first Persian. A beautiful, green-eyed shaded silver kitten looked up at me and stole my heart. Named 'Mally Blue', she was my first silver Persian, and I began learning about purebred cats from her.

One cat soon leads to another, and when I realized how much I enjoyed raising these beautiful cats, my husband, Lane, and I looked for the perfect place to settle down and build a cattery. We purchased a farm on river bottom land that had a mother-in-law's cottage behind the main house. We remodeled the cottage and turned it into a very functional cattery complete with heating, air conditioning, and a modern 'kitchen" area for grooming, bathing, food storage and laundry facilities.

Several large windows allow for light and fresh air, and the living areas have ample space for the kittens to romp and play. Our cats are really quite spoiled.
